The YORbuild Framework is a key part of the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Strategy and therefore the framework and its outputs relates directly to the role of the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership, YoHr Space. YoHr space provided funding to resource the procurement effort in forming the YORbuild Framework and have subsequently resourced some of the key initiatives that are part of the YORbuild Framework Management Strategy.

In addition to YoHr Space, the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership YORbuild works closely with other regional and national bodies.

Construction Skills have worked closely with the YORbuild Framework Management Team to develop the Employment and Skills Planning Model which forms the basis of the employment and skills plans which are embedded into every project called off via the YORbuild Framework. The efforts of the YORbuild Framework Management Team in driving forward employment and skills planning have been recognised on a national level through the award of National Skills Academy for Construction status. In addition the YORbuild Framework has been recognised as an exemplar in delivering employment and skills outputs and features in a number of case studies.

Throughout the procurement of the YORbuild Framework itself and now in the frameworks operation maximum effort has been applied to ensure that the framework is economically inclusive and not only offers opportunity but is a catalyst for business opportunity. YORbuild works closely with the Construction Sector Network funded by Yorkshire Forward and hosted by Leeds Metropolitan University to promote business opportunities emanating from YORbuild projects to the wider supply chain via the Construction Target programme. This ensures that framework users are maximising the economic impact of their projects upon the local economy and provides the line of sight that trade contractors require to effectively pursue business opportunities.
