Contractors

The Contractors appointed to the YORbuild Framework consist of wide range of regional and national businesses who have successfully participated in one of the Yorkshire and Humber regions largest procurement collaboration processes. The wide range of Contractors reflects the flexibility that the YORbuild Framework has to capably deal with projects of a minor and a major nature across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Over 400 applications were received in December 2008 to participate in the YORbuild Framework procurement process with over 200 duly completed pre-qualification questionnaires submitted for evaluation. A shortlist of 132 Contractors were invited to tender against a challenging tender document which examined the qualitative and commercial aspects of the tendering contractor in detail. Following a thorough tender analysis process conducted by a cross regional team against a 50% quality and 50% price evaluation framework in December 2009 the following Contractors were appointed to specific area lots of the YORbuild Framework:
